On January 15, 2004, Bank of America Corporation (the “Registrant”) announced financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2003, reporting for the quarter earnings of $2.73 billion and diluted earnings per common share of $1.83 and for the year net income of $10.8 billion and diluted earnings per common share of $7.13.
